The exact name of nonwovens should be nonwovens, or nonwovens. Because it is a kind of fabric formed without spinning and weaving, it is only formed by directional or random support of textile short fibers or filaments to form a fiber web structure, and then reinforced by mechanical, thermal adhesive or chemical methods. Nonwovens break through the traditional textile principle, and have the characteristics of short process flow, fast production speed, high output, low cost, wide use, many sources of raw materials and so on. According to different production processes, it can be roughly divided into:

1. Spunlaced non-woven fabric: it sprays high-pressure micro water flow into one or more layers of fiber mesh, so that the fibers are intertwined with each other, so that the fiber mesh can be reinforced and have a certain strength.

2. Heat sealing non-woven fabric: it refers to adding fibrous or powdery hot-melt bonding reinforcement materials into the fiber web, and then strengthening the fiber web into cloth through heating, melting and cooling.

3. Pulp airflow net non-woven fabric: it can also be called dust-free paper and dry papermaking non-woven fabric. It uses the air flow netting technology to loosen the wood pulp fiberboard into a single fiber state, and then uses the air flow method to agglutinate the fibers on the netting curtain, and then the fiber mesh is reinforced into cloth.

4. Wet non-woven fabric: it is to loosen the fiber raw materials placed in the aqueous medium into a single fiber, mix different fiber raw materials at the same time, and make the fiber suspension slurry. The suspension slurry is transported to the netting mechanism, and the fiber is netted in the wet state and then reinforced into cloth.

5. Spunbonded non-woven fabric: after the polymer has been extruded and stretched to form continuous filaments, the filaments are laid into a network, and the fiber network is transformed into non-woven fabric through self bonding, thermal bonding, chemical bonding or mechanical reinforcement.

6. Melt blown non-woven fabric: its technological process: polymer feeding - melt extrusion - fiber formation - fiber cooling - Netting - reinforcement into cloth.

7. Needle punched non-woven fabric: it is a kind of dry non-woven fabric. Needle punched non-woven fabric uses the puncture effect of needle to strengthen the fluffy fiber mesh into cloth.

8. Sewing non-woven fabric: it is a kind of dry non-woven fabric. The sewing method is to use the warp knitting coil structure to reinforce the fiber web, yarn layer, non-woven materials (such as plastic sheet, plastic thin metal foil, etc.) or their combinations to make non-woven fabric.

Its main uses can be roughly divided into:

(1) Medical and sanitary non-woven fabrics: surgical gowns, protective clothing, disinfection wraps, masks, diapers, civilian wipes, wipes, wet wipes, magic towels, soft towel rolls , beauty products, sanitary napkins, sanitary pads and disposable sanitary cloths, etc.;

(2) non-woven fabrics for home decoration: wall coverings, tablecloths, bed sheets, bedspreads, etc.;

(3) non-woven fabrics for clothing: lining, Adhesive lining, flakes, shaped cotton, various synthetic leather base fabrics, etc.;

(4) Industrial non-woven fabrics: filter materials, insulating materials, cement packaging bags, geotextiles, covering fabrics, etc.;

(5) Agricultural use Non-woven fabrics: crop protection fabrics, seedling raising fabrics, irrigation fabrics, thermal insulation curtains, etc.;

(6) Other non-woven fabrics: space cotton, thermal insulation materials, linoleum felts, cigarette filters, tea bags, etc.
