RPET material related introduction
RPET material, the full name of Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate), commonly known as coke bottle non-woven fabric or recycled polyester fabric. It is mainly extracted and recycled from discarded mineral water bottles and Coke bottles. These waste bottles are sliced, crushed, melted and separated from the PET components, then recycled granulated, processed into polyester staple fiber, and finally processed into RPET Lixin cloth by needling or non-woven process.
RPET material has the following characteristics:
Environmental protection: 100% environmental protection, does not contain azo, heavy metals and other harmful substances, and high temperature, acid and alkali resistance, strong water absorption.

Application of RPET fabric in luggage industry
RPET fabric is widely used in the luggage industry, mainly including but not limited to the following products:
Luggage category: such as satchel, backpack, trolley box, suitcase, shopping bag, tote bag, gift bag, storage box, etc.
Clothing: down jacket fabric lining, trench coat, beach pants, swimsuit, overalls, fashion, pajamas, etc.
Home textile fabric: four-piece bed set, blanket, decorative cloth, sofa fabric, apron, umbrella, curtain, etc.

How to determine whether it is RPET material
To determine whether the fabric is RPET material, you can do it by the following methods:
Appearance observation: RPET fabrics usually have a clear and bright fiber surface, the shape of the fiber presents a smooth appearance, and there will be a certain flash effect under light irradiation. The fibers are usually short in length and have a slightly grainy texture.
Feel and touch: RPET fabrics have a soft, smooth feel, similar to but slightly different from traditional polyester fibers. Recycled polyester fiber in the manufacturing process will use special technology treatment, making the fiber surface more smooth and soft.
Burning test: A small piece of fabric can be taken for burning test. RPET materials usually produce black smoke and a burning odor similar to polyester when burned. However, please note that this method is not absolutely accurate and has certain security risks, and it is recommended to only be carried out under the guidance of professionals.
